Jeff left The Spectra Group in 2010 and created White Oak Development in 2011 where he has been working on building his next portfolio of Walmart shadow anchored shopping centers and multi-family residential developments. Focusing his efforts in the economically viable areas of south and west Texas, Jeff has been successful developing, constructing, managing, and selling nine new Walmart shadow anchored developments since 2011. In addition to these shopping center projects, Jeff, along with his residential development partner, Fritz Van Nest, has successfully developed and manage four unique multi-family residential development projects located in the same geographic regions. Construction is nearing completion on White Oak’s fifth multi-family residential development in Lake Charles, LA, with the first units available to lease first quarter 2024.

Jeff’s extensive experience in managing all phases and aspects of the leasing, development, design, construction and post construction management of a multi project/multi city portfolio uniquely qualifies him to manage the development and construction of several projects in differing locales at one time. His portfolio building and management skills led to a natural, complimentary partnership with Fritz Van Nest, who has extensive residential development experience. Jeff has extensive, long lasting relationships with several large landowners and prominent businessmen in many of the specific markets where White Oak is developing new projects. Jeff’s successful track record and reputation across these markets and within his industry has facilitated White Oak’s ability to successfully negotiate control of and develop the prime pieces of commercial and residential properties in these markets. Additionally, Jeff has extensive relationships with many large, national and regional retailers with whom Jeff has developed and built dozens shopping centers.

Prior to working at the Spectra Group Inc., Jeff Farmer III spent a year and a half as a loan officer at FirstBank of Breckenridge in Breckenridge, Colorado. At FirstBank, Jeff successfully completed dozens of residential construction, small business and general consumer loans. Majoring in finance, Jeff graduated from Tulane University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Management.

In 2000, Fritz relocated to the San Antonio/Boerne, TX area to be closer to his wife’s family. Thereupon he founded JBS Development & Finance, LLC. He has platted subdivisions in excess of $70,000,000. One of his subdivisions, Wild Wind, a master planned gated residential neighborhood, was voted “Best Subdivision in Comal County”. It was subsequently entered into the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2006 Best in Commercial Real Estate competition and won the category for Best Residential Development. In recent years, Fritz has focused his efforts on the shale plays in Texas. He has researched and forged relationships with city officials and landowners in the oil-charged areas of south and west Texas.

His central location places him in the middle of the biggest oil production boom to hit Texas since the 1980’s. He has been instrumental in managing the projects in both the Eagle Ford and Cline shale plays. Being a seasoned veteran in the real estate market has given him great insight into dealing with various municipalities and entities in a highly efficient and effective manner. Fritz attended the University of Montana with a major in business administration until his decision to start his own business lead him to leave school his junior year.

After graduating from SMU, Jason began working in Austin Texas for RMT Environmental and Civil Engineering firm. Puig identified and sourced 20 environmentally distressed commercial, industrial and retail properties aggregating $150 MM, which met the criteria of Wisconsin Power and Light (publicly traded utility and owner of RMT), and lenders. After leaving RMT, Jason later joined Staubach Retail (SRS) in Dallas and became the top producing Restaurant broker nationally for the last 5 years of a 12 year run (2002-2013) – the largest Retail Brokerage Firm in the US.

In 2013, Jason joined White Oak Development and continues to identify, underwrite, and develop retail shopping centers/pad sites adjacent to Super WalMart from his family office in Dallas.

Jason recently celebrated his 19th year of marriage and has a 11 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. Jason enjoys cooking with chefs, collecting agave spirits, flyfishing in high altitude mountain streams, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

With more than 20 years in real estate and property management, her personal motto is to never stop learning and growing. With new technologies, new marketing, and the quickly changing demands of today’s multi-family industry she stays challenged and enthused about her work. Karen focuses on meeting those current market demands by providing and supporting the best teams and services possible for each property and its tenants, while fulfilling the financial goals of the owners.

When away from work, Karen enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to live, local, music, reading, and volunteering 15 years with Memphis’s World Champion Hot Wing Contest and Festival.

Liliane is originally from Cameroon, in Central Africa, where she worked as financial supervisor in a printing company for 6 years. Upon moving to the Memphis Area, she earned a BBA in Finance - Real Estate Concentration from the University of Memphis. After which she worked as a budget analyst intern for the City of Memphis.

Liliane brings a reliable, dedicated, work ethic and an outgoing, joyful personality to the team, along with her beautiful French accent.

Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and close friends, music, and traveling to discover new places.

Her start in the multifamily industry was working two years as a vendor, then became a leasing agent for an additional three years. Mari joined the White Oak Development team in 2017 as a leasing assistant. She was quickly promoted to Property Manager after demonstrating unnerving leadership and focus while helping the community weather the effects, and prosper after Hurricane Harvey.

Mari feels a career in property management is never boring and always presents new exciting challenges. She really enjoys the opportunity of meet new people and help fulfill their goal of finding the perfect place to call home.

Veronica is bilingual and also possesses a wide variety of problem-solving skills and experience related to every aspect of multi-family property management. Seasoned in leasing, marketing, and management she thrives on providing residents with exceptional customer service. She is detailed in training and guides employees through exercises to improve their skills and knowledge. Besides working on property management she loves traveling and spending time with her two sons, and family.

Halea has been in property management for four and half years after starting at small apartment community in Lubbock, Texas. Here she was noticed for her natural management and leadership skills, raising occupancy and lowering delinquency. After moving to a new management position in Midland, TX with Sunridge Properties she was quickly promoted to a regional manager, overseeing multiple properties in their Permian Basin portfolio.

Halea has a passion for the industry because of the relationships she gets to make with residents and coworkers. She also loves that there is always something new and challenging to learn and experience in multifamily property management.

Originally from the island of Trinidad and Tobago, Sherryann moved to Baltimore, Maryland at 16, where she earned an associates degree and worked for 6 years, before returning home to Trinidad. There she married and took over the management of the family supermarket, growing the business for sixteen years. She has a very strong work ethic and dedication to her family.

In her free time, Sherryann enjoys time with her friends, her husband, and their two beautiful daughters.
